Notting Hill, one of the most iconic places in London and also the home to the marc b. studio!
Filled with dreamy pastel houses, cute cafes and home to it’s fair share of pedigree pooches, we’re proud to consider Notting Hill our home. Take a walk with us down enchanting cobbled streets and step into the world of marc b.
We’ve put together a little guide on our favourite spots for you to explore around the area, head off the beaten track with us and discover some hidden gems!
First on our list is Scarlet & Violet in Kensal Rise, (not technically Notting Hill but well worth the visit) this beautiful shop is home to a variety of home grown flowers. With fresh stock arriving daily, you never quite know what you’ll find!
Take a stroll down St Lukes Mews, this picturesque square is filled with quaint pastel houses and you’ll struggle to feel like you’re not in a coastal town in the south of France. This Mews is most well known for it’s part in film Love Actually. Keep your eyes peeled for Colin Firth!
After all that walking why not stop by our favourite coffee spot, Farm girl cafe. With their menu offering up tasty treats such as strawberry salads and Rose Lattes. If you’re feeling adventurous why not try their signature coconut bacon BLT, but careful this cafe is doggy friendly so you might end up sharing!
If vintage is more your bag and you fancy a little retail therapy pop by Rellik underneath Trellick tower. This independently owned vintage Mecca is ideal for those unique designer pieces and retro treasures.
For those of you who are musically minded….Rough Trade on Talbot road is the place to go. Full of independent music labels this is music lovers paradise! Watch out for their regular events programme showcasing a variety of well known and up and coming talent. With previous artists such as Bat For Lashes and Bon Iver gigging there.
After all that running around, there’s only one place left to call, Biscuiteers. This unique bakery is the destination shop for those with a sweet tooth. Providing beautifully hand crafted biscuits in every shape and size imaginable! Their Notting Hill shop is even home to their very first Icing school where you can learn to make biscuits just like them…well sort of!
We’d love to see you’re snaps around Notting Hill, make sure to tag #marcb in your posts. For more adventures make sure to follow us on our Instagram!
